This website does not use cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything: there is nothing to consent to.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Cookies are used to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, to measure audiences and to target advertising.
Under Article 22.2 of Spanish Act 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), a website must obtain your consent before storing information on your device, except where it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested. This site stores nothing at all, so no consent is required and no banner is shown.
2. What this site actually does
The pages are static. They set no cookies, and they write nothing to your browser's local storage or session storage. Nothing about your visit is kept on your device, so nothing identifies you when you come back.
There is no analytics or audience measurement service on this site. We do not know how many people visit it, which pages they read or where they come from, beyond the technical access logs that the hosting provider keeps for security and maintenance.
The pages also display themselves without contacting anyone else. The typefaces, the styles and the images are all served from this site. That was not always so: until recently one of the typefaces was requested from Google on every page load, which sent your IP address there before the page had drawn anything. It is now served from here, and nothing takes its place.
3. Content from other services, and only if you ask
Three things on this site come from somewhere else. None of them loads while you read: each one waits until you ask for it. When you do, your browser connects to that service and it receives your IP address and basic technical data, as happens with any internet request.

The video player is loaded through youtube-nocookie.com,
YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not record what you watch
unless you play the video. Neither the player nor the brochure viewer
is loaded until you ask for it, so simply reading the page contacts
neither.
The one thing on that list that does not wait for you is the still image of a video, which the page with the videos fetches from YouTube's image servers in order to show you what you would be playing. It sets no cookies. Storing those two images on this site would remove even that, and it is the next thing to do here.
4. Other websites are a separate matter
Registration and sign-in happen on the event platform, which is a different website operated by a third party. It does use cookies — a service with accounts and sessions cannot work without them — and it has its own cookie policy, which you will be shown when you go there.
The same applies to the other sites linked from here, including bilbaoekintza.eus and the institutional websites of the destination. Each has its own cookie policy, and what is said on this page is true of this website only.
5. How to control cookies in general
There is nothing to disable on this site, but every browser lets you review and delete the cookies stored by the sites you visit, and block them in advance. The setting is usually under Privacy or Privacy and security, in the browser's own settings.
6. Changes to this policy
If this site ever adds a tool that stores information on your device, this page will be rewritten and a consent request will be added before that tool is loaded. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
